Yesterday Molly and I walked down to Charmouth via the beautiful Champenhayes woods. We went right down to the sea front to watch the large discoloured waves crashing against the beach. Towards goldencap there was a large recent landslide. Molly was not permitted on the beach, although I did manage to get a good photograph of some freshly painted beach huts. We walked back up to Fishpond via rolling fields and at one point came across a large deer; In total we covered 15km. The afternoon was spent reading, taking pictures and enjoying a rainbow as the sun and the rain clouds battled it out for superiority overhead.
