This weekend I headed back down to Dorset making the most of some beautiful late summer sunshine. Arriving on Friday evening after a full on week of work I was greeted enthusiastically by our family dog Molly. Rebakah and her fiance Tim arrived on Saturday for lunch and we spent the afternoon walking around the hill fortresses at Lambert’s and Coney’s Castle. In the evening we headed down to Lyme Regis for a walk along the Cobb and a few beers at a couple of the beach front pubs. On Sunday Morning we headed down to Charmouth where Tim and I had a swim in the sea. Although cold, it was actually very pleasant. I also built a stone circle on the beach. I headed back to Swindon via Street in the evening – it has been great to make the most of this late summer sunshine.
