A visit to the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street

After completing our visit to Tower Bridge we headed straight for the “Walkie-Talkie” building, officially known as 20 Fenchurch Street where we had a visit booked in for 11 am. Arriving at 10:50, the queue for the 11 am session already stretched around two corners of the skyscraper – one of the lifts servicing the Sky Garden appeared to be out of action. After about 45 minutes we made it to the lift which took us up to the 35th floor. The views from the Sky Garden were impressive. To leave, there was also a 20 minute queue for the lift. We will probably return in the future – perhaps on a summers day when the terrace is open.
